Teach For Pakistan Vacancy
Position Title: Manager, Alumni Impact
Department: Alumni Impact
Location: Karachi, Pakistan

The position: Teach For Pakistan is looking to hire a Manager for its Alumni Impact team to
engage Alumni and develop Fellow Professional and Leadership knowledge. The Manager will
work closely with and report to the Director, Alumni Impact, to assist in developing a Leadership
Development Framework, ensure that fruitful partnerships are made with organisations where
Fellows aspire to work, and support the successful execution of programming and reporting
mechanisms. The Manager will constantly seek new ways to engage Alumni and nurture their
knowledge, skills and mindsets to grow as future leaders in Pakistan. The Manager will also take
responsibility to organise and facilitate sessions held by the Alumni Impact team, and design and
deliver innovative sessions that increase leadership of Fellows outside the classroom.

Key themes of work:
• Managing key partnerships with corporations and potential employers for Alumni
• Supporting Director, Alumni Impact, with Alumni vision and strategy
• Spearheading professional and leadership development programming
• Organising and facilitating Alumni Impact-related events

Your experience and skills:
• 3-5 years of work experience managing and training young professionals preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to design, lead and facilitate professional development presentations and sessions
• Team-player, experience managing key relationships and able to work with diverse range of
individuals
• A strong can-do attitude and passion for the mission of Teach For Pakistan

Position Title: Manager, Communications & Business Development (CBD)
Department: Communications & Business Development
Location: Karachi, Pakistan

The position: Teach For Pakistan is looking to hire a Manager for the CBD team to drive the design and
execution of our wider engagement strategy, a core pillar of our work over the next year. The Manager
will be responsible for brand strategy and public relations of Teach For Pakistan. The Manager will work
closely with the CEO in internal and external communications and networking activities, ensuring key
stakeholders become allies in the movement against educational inequity. The Manager will plan and
lead large events, and be responsible for our online presence. The Manager will have the opportunity
to be innovative and to create and drive Teach For Pakistan’s CBD team to perform at its peak.

Key themes of work:
• Developing and growing Teach For Pakistan’s brand
• Being responsible for key engagement activities and events
• Engaging and following up with various partners, stakeholders and potential supporters
• Managing online & print material design and creation
• Supporting other teams with content production, particularly the Recruitment & Selection team

Your experience and skills:
• 3-5 years of work experience in marketing, communications, public relations, media preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent strategic thinking skills and strong attention to detail
• A strong can-do attitude and high levels of commitment
• Self-starter, motivated and ability to manage projects independently
• Strong skills and experience in building relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience writing press releases, managing campaigns and developing
relationships with media outlets preferred

Position Title: Manager, Grants
Department: Communications & Business Development (CBD)
Location: Karachi, Pakistan

The position: Teach For Pakistan is looking to hire a Grants and Donor Relations Manager for the
CBD team to lead Teach For Pakistan’s engagement with donors. The Grants Manager will scope
for funding opportunities (locally and internationally), author and design proposals for applicable
grants and report impact according to grant requirements. The Grants Manager will also support
the CEO in external communication and networking activities, ensuring potential donors and
funders are aware of Teach For Pakistan’s model and impact.

Key themes of work:
• Identification of grant opportunities, proposal writing and reporting
• Developing and maintaining tools to monitor and report impact
• Managing existing grants and maintaining current donor engagement
• Engaging with and securing potential donors and funders
• Working closely with other Teach for Pakistan teams to facilitate donor reporting
• Representing Teach For Pakistan at a regional, national and global level

Your experience and skills:
• 3-5 years of successful work experience in grants writing and management
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
• Outstanding editing, writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong, demonstrated ability to organize, summarize and analyse data
• Ability to manage relationships and partnerships with high-net worth individuals, high-level
corporations and donor agencies
• A strong can-do attitude, and high levels of commitment for the work
• Self-starter, motivated and able to manage diverse, time-sensitive projects
